And a lot of people like to benchmark which makes them crave for mor performance rather enjoy their new powerful rig.

I honestly can't remember the last time I've checked my frame rate. Probably 10+ years ago while running Fraps because it had the frame rate overlay?

I monitor my framerate always, but since I use Vsync, I mostly only monitor it so I can know if there are any hardware issues I need to look into as opposed to obsessing over what my max fps should be.

Vsync induced delay is godawful, id rather have screen tearing here and there than that stupid vsync crap.

If your screen tearing is loud enough to hear, please consult a professional.

Well then isn't it great that we have the choice to use it or not depending on our own preference
